In September 2025, a group of 20 artists descended on the town of Trofaiach, Styria.
The organised by the collective Barfuß am Abriss, which specialises on revitalising
abandoned spaces for art residencies, the group lived and worked in an impromptu
community. A program of performances, concerts, and workshops, throughout the month
engaged the artists and the locals, culminating in a weekend long exhibition.
My work loosely revolved around the motiv of windows. I thought about the window we were looking through
into life in that village, and the windows that let the locals look in on us and our work, our way of life.
